Elementary Art in Austin ISD The primary focus of the Austin ISD Elementary Art program is to develop students’ artistic understanding and creative skills through hands-on art-making and visual exploration. Student artwork and exhibitions are a natural and appropriate outcome of this learning and reflect grade-level instruction and classroom experiences.
