Coats for Kids 2018
Austin ISD has partnered with The Junior League of Austin to provide free shuttle transportation for Coats for Kids 2018. This year's event is 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Road. Buses begin picking up families at 7 a.m. and return every hour, beginning at 9 a.m. The last bus will leave the Palmer Events Center at 3:30 p.m.

Austin ISD is encouraging eligible families to apply for one-time state-funded benefits to buy food. McCallum Fine Arts Academy presents " Murder on the Orient Express"
MacTheatre, a McCallum High School Fine Arts Academy program, will present Agatha Christie's classic masterpiece "Murder on the Orient Express" this month.
