Will students participate in Athletics activities? If yes, what will that look like and what safety protocols will be in place? The health and safety of our student athletes are our top priority. As of right now, we plan to resume athletics on September 8. This decision will need to take into account the daily monitoring of local health conditions and recommendations.

AISD Board Policy encourages use of school facilities for activities that benefit students and the school community, so long as they do not interfere with the regular school program. Principals approve or disapprove facility use requests. Facility Use Fees and Custodian Fees are charged to offset the cost of facility use by community groups.

Austin ISD Releases Preliminary Draft of Facility Master Plan For Public Comment
AUSTIN, Texas—Austin ISD has released a preliminary draft of the Facility Master Plan for public comment.
