Family Support Cooperative Hosts First Meeting
Austin, TX—The Austin Family Support Cooperative will host its first meeting of the 2012-13 school year from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the Rosedale School, at 2117 W. 49th Street.
Apply for Pre-K Tuition Programs by Jan. 29
AISD is accepting applications for Pre-K tuition programs—including 12 dual-language programs—at 36 elementary schools. The deadline for applications to be included in the lottery is Friday, Jan. 29.Applications are available at the campuses where the programs are offered. MEDIA ADVISORY: AISD Invites Community to Free Resource Festival at Martin Middle School Nov. 8
This weekend, Austin ISD, Eastside Memorial High School and the schools that feed into Eastside Memorial are sponsoring Harvest Fest. The event is a community resource fair with more than 70 exhibitors. In its second year, Harvest Fest is expecting to attract 1,500 to 2,000 attendees.

International High School Students Selected for UT Engineering Summer Program
Five students from International High School have been selected as participants in the Texas Advanced Computer Center program for summer 2018. Gabriela Galindo, Ahmed Muslim, Abraham Debasu, Yohany Cordova and Thierry Murwanashyaka applied for the summer engineering courses earlier the spring semester. Austin ISD Head Start Pre-K3 Program Register your 3-year-old child for free, full-day, AISD Head Start Pre-K3 Program. The program serves children who turn 3 on or before September 1 of the current school year. The program provides free breakfast, lunch, and a free snack every day in a high-quality developmentally appropriate environment.
