AISD to Provide Free Produce Boxes featuring Texas-Grown Foods / El AISD distribuirá cajas de frutas y vegetales gratis que contienen alimentos cultivados en Texas
(El español está disponible abajo) Beginning July 22, families will receive free produce boxes at AISD curbside meal sites. The boxes will feature locally grown produce, such as peppers, melons, squash, carrots and other seasonal staples. The Common Market Texas, a mission-driven distributor of sustainable, local farm foods will prepare and deliver the produce boxes to AISD.

Update 9:26 p.m. Feb.16: Classes at Bowie High School will continue as scheduled tomorrow, February 17. AISD plumbing staff were able to locate the water line break and make all necessary repairs. PEBT Application Deadline Extended / Fecha límite de solicitud P-EBT extendida
On Monday, Governor Greg Abbott announced that the Texas Health and Human Services Commission is extending the application deadline for the federal Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer program to July 31.
