Unmet Needs and Root Causes Survey

Over the last few months, the Austin ISD Long-Range Planning Committees have been assessing information, data, and feedback from community members, students, staff, and parents. The Long-range Planning Committees have developed several Unmet Needs Statements, or statements that outline some of the current issues the district needs to address in each of the following areas:

  • Academics & Career and Technical Education
  • Athletics 
  • Visual & Performing Arts
  • Facilities
  • Safety, Security & Resiliency
  • Transportation, Food Service & Maintenance
  • Technology

We asked our community to share their perspectives on some of the underlying factors or causes associated with each issue.

Encuesta de necesidades insatisfechas y causas fundamentales

En los últimos meses, los Comités de planificación a largo plazo del Austin ISD han estado evaluando información, datos y aportes de los miembros de la comunidad, los estudiantes, el personal y los padres.
