Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign to bring awareness to the risks and dangers of substance abuse. Throughout this week, AISD will educate youth, staff, and the community about the effects of tobacco, alcohol, vaping, and other drugs on our bodies and brains. We hope that all our students and community will feel the full potential of being healthy and drug free!
Bowie Yearbook Gains National Recognition
The new year will be one for the books for Bowie High School. The “Lone Star Yearbook” was named as a finalist for two national awards: a Pacemaker from the National Scholastic Press Association and a Crown from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

Austin ISD WiFi Buses Expand Hours / Autobuses con wifi del Austin ISD extienden el horario
Austin ISD has expanded hours for WiFi bus service to accommodate Advanced Placement testing through May 22. The buses will now be available to students from 8 a.m.–4:15 p.m. All bus locations can be found on the Austin ISD school bus wifi locations map.
