Austin ISD Receives Award For Its Visual Arts
Austin ISD was awarded the District of Distinction Award for the Visual Arts for the third year in a row Aug. 31. The District of Distinction award is given annually by the Texas Art Education Association to recognize school districts that are providing high-quality arts programs to students and promoting them to the community.
AISD Meal Sites Closed for Memorial Day
All Austin ISD meal sites will be closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 25. To provide food for the long weekend, children and caregivers will receive two breakfast and lunch meals on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22. Community Bond Oversight Committee Meeting
Meeting Type: Report to the Board of Trustees Location: Virtual The Board of Trustees appoints individuals to the CBOC to ensure that bond projects remain faithful to the scope of work approved by Austin voters.
