The Walnut Creek Elementary School Prep Academy in North Austin kicked off a major attendance campaign on its campus last Friday. Gov. Abbott Signs Emergency Early Education Bills

State Officials Release Federal Funding for School Districts
Gov. Greg Abbott and other state officials this afternoon announced that they would release $11.2 billion in one-time federal funds to Texas schools. Designed to help districts address unfinished learning and costs incurred because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the funds were approved as part of three separate pieces of legislation.
Reagan ECHS Honors Class of 2018
Reagan Early College High School honored more than 250 seniors at their graduation ceremony this afternoon at the Frank Erwin Center. Austin ISD Superintendent Paul Cruz highlighted the accomplishments of Reagan students this year:
International High eying a move north to accommodate influx of immigrant students
In response to a big influx of newly arrived immigrant students, Austin ISD is talking with stakeholders about moving International High School next school year from Eastside Early College High School at the L.C. Anderson campus to co-locate with Northeast ECHS.
