The Walnut Creek Elementary School Prep Academy in North Austin kicked off a major attendance campaign on its campus last Friday. 

As parents dropped their scholars off on campus, volunteers thanked parents for getting their children to school on time by letting them pick out small rewards from brown bags the volunteers had.

The brown bags included important attendance information and also featured snacks and coupons for free meals and other giveaways donated by the attendance campaign sponsors: A+ Federal Credit Union, All Smiles Dental Service and Schlotzky’s.
