Ann Richards School Wins $1,000 for Spoilage Tracker Idea
Students from throughout Austin ISD met at Crockett High School today to “Think It Up”—creating big ideas that can be crowdfunded on donorschoose.org.The winning idea—Green SAFE—was from Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders, which won $1,000. Green SAFE is a produce spoilage tracker, with the ultimate goal of reducing the amount of food that ends up in the trash.
Eastside Memorial wins 2016 Rather Prize at SXSWedu

Do's and Don'ts: Discussing the AISD Bond Election
In February, the Board of Trustees adopted an order calling for a bond election for May 11, 2013. Austin voters will be asked whether or not to authorize the school district to issue up to $892.2 million in bonds.
2022 Bond: Community Conversations
The Austin ISD Board of Trustees have called for a $2.44 billion bond package for the Nov. 8, 2022 general election. If approved by voters, the 2022 Bond would fund improvements across the district so that every campus benefits.
