Superintendent Announces Schools Frozen to Transfers for 2016–17
Austin ISD Superintendent Paul Cruz last night announced the names of 23 schools that will be frozen to transfers during the 2016–17 school year.Each year, AISD determines which schools should be frozen to transfers because they have, or are expected to have, enrollments that exceed their capacities. Student Registration Opens This Week
Parents are now able to register students online for the upcoming school year through the Austin ISD Parent Cloud or at any AISD campus. Registration is open for students within AISD's boundaries and for out-of-district transfers who apply to attend schools with availability.
