Dear Austin ISD Staff and Community, Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! I have some great news to share that we received from TEA. This morning, the new school ratings were released, and I am happy to share that most of our campuses increased their state ratings from 2019. We are especially proud of the following schools that made major strides:
AISD Launches Student-hosted TV Show INSIDE AISD
Austin, TX—This Thursday, the Austin Independent School District is launching INSIDE AISD, an original television series that highlights the district's people and programs.The 15-minute monthly series is hosted by three AISD high school students and is designed to showcase students and staff and promote district events, programs and initiatives.

Be Prepared: City Shares Flood Safety Resources for Residents
News release from the City of Austin:The National Weather Service is predicting heavy rainfall in the Austin area Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon.City officials will monitor radar, rainfall data, creek levels, and close low-water crossings that may flood.
