Austin ISD Health Professions Program Could Bring More Students Opportunities in Health Careers
Austin ISD, in partnership with Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College, today announced a proposal to launch a Health Professions Program. The program would prepare students for a career in health professions, and would accept applications from students districtwide. The program is dependent on the bond passing in November.
AISD Board of Trustees Approves New Principal Appointments
On Monday, Austin ISD's Board of Trustees approved new principal appointments for Clayton and Galindo elementary schools. Clayton Elementary School Amy Gonzales was appointed to lead Clayton Elementary School. Gonzales most recently served as the school's interim principal.&nbs

Correction: Corrine Saenz taught in Sheldon ISD at Sheldon Elementary, Sheldon Intermediate and C.E. King Middle schools and was a counselor in Grand Prarie ISD, Saenz did not teach in GPISDOn Monday, June 20, Austin ISD's Board of Trustees approved the appointments of six new AISD principals. Anderson High SchoolSammi Harrison was appointed as the leader of Anderson High School.
