Austin ISD, Alumni Association Host L.C. Anderson Historical Marker Dedication
Austin ISD and the L.C. Anderson Alumni Association will host the historical marker dedication ceremony for the campus this Saturday, July 17 from 10-11:30 a.m. The event, themed “L.C. Anderson “Yellow Jacket” Heritage...Always Remembered, Always Treasured,” will include the unveiling of the historical marker commemorating the last location of Austin’s only Black public high school.
