AISD Releases Response to Texas Civil Rights Project Report
In September, the Texas Civil Rights Project (TCRP) released a report about school funding. The administration has reviewed the claims made by TCRP and analyzed their findings in its report. As a result, the administration has issued a response to the claims made in TCRP's report. The following represents the administration’s response.

Ann Richards School Earns Grant from MIT Organization
Austin, Texas—The Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam recently awarded a $9,500 grant to the Ann Richards School for Young Women leaders to create a pressurized produce preserver that runs on sustainable renewable energy. The school is one of just 16 high schools nationwide selected as an InvenTeam this year.
Austin ISD Board Names Yasmin Wagner to Fill District 7 Seat
The Austin ISD Board of Trustees has selected Yasmin Wagner as the new District 7 trustee.The board made the decision at its regular meeting last night. Wagner and accountant Johnathan Sump had applied to fill former trustee Robert Schneider's position.Wagner, a corporate communications and marketing manager, has lived in District 7 for nearly six years and in Austin for more than 20.
Green Machine: Eastside Memorial High School Recognized as First Green Flag High School in Texas
