In-Person Learning is Up as Coronavirus Cases Decline (En español)
More students are coming back to campuses in the last weeks of school following a decline in the number of COVID cases across the district. Since March, Austin ISD has seen a 7.1% increase in the number of students attending school on-campus, an increase of more than 5,000 students.

Austin ISD Announces Staff COVID-19 Vaccine Incentive Programs
Staff could get $250 if fully vaccinated by Oct. 15. Austin ISD staff will now have extra reason to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Austin ISD's Board of Trustees tonight approved the appointment of Jesse De La Huerta as the new principal for Dobie College Prep Academy. De La Huerta currently serves as interim principal of Dobie College Prep Academy.
