AISD Names Teacher of the Year at Awards Ceremony
AUSTIN, Texas--Tonight the Austin Independent School District announced its Teacher of the Year and Principal of the Year winners, among others, during Salute 2014, an annual event hosted by AISD and Austin Partners In Education to honor outstanding educators.

Students to have access to counselors, SEL services on first day of school
On the first day of school, students will be welcomed back with friendly counselors at their school. Austin ISD’s goal is to have counselors visible so students know who to talk to as they transition back to on-campus learning.

Crockett Cougars Celebrate Graduation
The Crockett Early College High School community, staff, families and friends joined together June 15 to celebrate the 2020 graduating class through a virtual ceremony. Superintendent Paul Cruz congratulated the graduates of this year's class via a video statement. His remarks were followed by a speech from Principal Kori Crawford.
2023 State Accountability results slated for release next week (En español)
After two years of lawsuits holding up state accountability results, the courts have dismissed the latest effort to block 2023 A-F ratings statewide. The decision allows campus-based grades districtwide to become public for the first time since 2019. As of today, ratings for 2024 have not been released by the courts.
