Austin ISD Graduation Rate Hits All-time High
Austin ISD once again hit an all-time high graduation rate. The class of 2015 graduation rate of 89.7 percent is a new record high, up 3.4 percentage points over the prior year and up more than 15 percentage points since 2008.
Austin ISD Work Schedule for Summer 2013
As part of AISD's summer energy efficiency program, the district will be closed for one week over July 1-5. Because Thursday, July 4, is a holiday, employees are already off work that day. For the remaining days, all 12-month employees who are on duty will be required to use accumulated vacation time. The average savings from summer shutdown save the district $387,000.

Reaching New Heights: Youth Art Month Billboard on Display Throughout Austin
Austin ISD Youth Art Month kicked off with the signing of a student-designed billboard. Travis Early College High School art student John Ramirez signed his artwork on the billboard at 1614 Montopolis Road. Reagan High School Celebrates Class of 2014
Nearly 200 seniors were celebrated today as the Reagan High School Class of 2014 graduated in a ceremony at the Frank Erwin Center.The senior class has already earned more than 800 college credit hours, and members of the class submitted 858 college applications—an average of more than four per student.
