AISD Creates Facebook Profile Frames for 2021 Graduates (En español)
Austin ISD is proud of the Class of 2021, and to congratulate our graduates we have created Facebook profile picture frames to celebrate them reaching this milestone. Families receive free meals, books at Summer Kick-Off Event
As part of her Thursday routine, Austin ISD parent Diana Celis arrived at Padron Elementary — in one hand she held her daughter’s hand, in the other a reusable bag. The bag was to make sure she could haul home her free seven-day meal packs and the books her daughter picked out to take home.
Austin ISD Announces Schools Frozen to Transfers in 2020–21
Each year, Austin ISD determines which schools (K–12) should be frozen to transfers because they have, or are expected to have, enrollments that exceed their capacities. Also, some schools are frozen to maintain stability in tracking patterns.

Austin ISD Summer Efficiency Schedule June 3-August 9 The last day of school is this Friday, May 24 for all Austin ISD schools, and beginning Monday, June 3 through Friday, August 9, Austin ISD operates on a summer efficiency schedule.
