We’re getting a lot of questions about vaccinations and our COVID-19 policies, especially in light of the CDC’s big news today about fully vaccinated people not needing to wear masks. Texas Supreme Court ruling doesn't affect Austin ISD mask mandate (En español)

Masks will still be required in all Austin ISD schools and facilities regardless of the latest Texas Supreme Court ruling, which blocked temporary restraining orders that had allowed Dallas County and San Antonio to impose mask mandates.
