District Seeks Public Input on New Bond Program; Community Members Invited to Share Feedback

Austin, Texas—The Citizens' Bond Advisory Committee for the Austin Independent School District welcomes community members to share feedback on the scope of work the committee has completed for a new district bond program at two public hearings this month.

What: Community members will learn about and share feedback on the district's new bond program.

When and Where: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the cafeteria at Reagan High School, and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the cafeteria at Crockett High School.

Background: The Citizens' Bond Advisory Committee is charged with developing recommendations on the scope of work for a proposed, new district bond program.

Community members who would like to speak during the public hearings must sign up the day of the hearing at the high school hosting the event.

Speakers will be asked to provide their name, address, email address, telephone number and signature. Individuals must sign-up only for themselves and may not yield time to others. Each speaker will be provided two minutes to share feedback, which can also be submitted online.
