The Austin ISD Board of Trustees has developed a framework for a new strategic plan, including the district's vision, mission, core beliefs and strategic goals.

During the next two weeks, all Austin ISD stakeholders are invited to participate in community discussions to expand on this foundation and to identify the priorities of the district.

The first meeting will be

6–8 p.m. Nov. 6 at Ann Richards School Cafeteria, 2206 Prather Lane, 78704

Light refreshments, child care and simultaneous Spanish-language interpretation will be provided.
