Explore UT Open House

The University of Texas at Austin is hosting its 13th annual Explore UT, a day of events, performances, exhibits, lectures and activities for the entire family from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, March 3. The event provides an opportunity for visitors to examine the rich and varied programs that are a part of everyday life a university campus.

With nearly 400 events and activities happening across campus, there is something for everyone. Children can test their skills while making liquid nitrogen ice cream, creating a butterfly, building a popsicle catapult, designing miniature solar cars and engaging in dozens of other activities. High schoolers can meet with advisers, faculty and students to learn about everything from degree plans to financial aid. Parents and teachers can enjoy a variety of cultural events, exhibits, performances, museums and lectures.

For thousands of families, school children, and Texas citizens, a life-long relationship with this university will start at Explore UT. Come explore, enjoy a day of fun and learn something new.
