Oct. 20-24 is Transportation Employees Appreciation Week (En español)

Transportation Employees Appreciation Week shines a spotlight on all of the district’s transportation employees.

Why it matters: The transportation team, which includes bus drivers, dispatchers, mechanics and supervisors, manages a large-scale operation, overseeing about 300 bus routes and utilizing nearly 600 buses. The department is responsible for transporting close to 20,000 Austin ISD students daily.

School Consolidation Conversation with the Superintendent - East Austin

Cybersecurity Awareness Month reminds everyone that there are simple, effective ways to keep yourself safe online and protect your personal data. 

Why it matters: Being mindful while online helps you avoid being a target! This includes protecting computer systems, networks and sensitive information from unauthorized access that can put you or your family at risk from cyber attacks.
