Austin, TX — 09/04/25 - Kiker Elementary School Teacher Pooja Mulgaonker received a special classroom surprise Thursday morning as Superintendent and other district leaders shared some special news — she’s a finalist for the 2026 Texas Teacher of the Year.
Gifted & Talented Virtual Information Session
The Austin ISD Advanced Academics Team is hosting a virtual Gifted & Talented information session on September 23 and 24 to cover the Gifted & Talented referral process, identification process, as well as an overview of Gifted & Talented services in the district. Spanish translation will be provided.
