Mr. Ramos submitted his resignation from Austin ISD on Tuesday, July 23. Mr. Ramos’ last day with the district was scheduled for Friday, Aug. 16; however, Superintendent Matías Segura placed Mr. Ramos on leave July 31, 2024.
What’s Next: Superintendent Segura has named Ms. Katrina Montgomery as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Montgomery has served the district for three years as Assistant Superintendent of Finance. Before serving at Austin ISD, she was interim VP of Administration and Finance and Controller at Huston-Tillotson University.

Caregivers can support students with their digital tools by sharing the answers contained in these tutorial collections. Students can see reminders on how to access the Portal or BLEND (Canvas) 6th-12th, fix their Google account or troubleshoot some of the issues that they may see when using their Chromebook.
In-depth, multi-dimensional presentations of many aspects of Chinese cultural heritage. Hosted by the Austin Chinese American-Network, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to serving our community and fostering our heritage, and supported by a Thrive grant by the Austin Economic Development's Cultural Arts Division.
