Board Vice President Yasmin Wagner Elected to State Association Board

Austin ISD Board of Trustees Vice President Yasmin Wagner has been elected to a one-year term on the Texas Association of School Boards Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 13, Position A.

The election was held during the Association’s 2021 Delegate Assembly on Sept. 25 in Dallas.

A native Texan and a resident of Austin for 27 years, Wagner is a child of immigrants and is the first Arab-American elected official in Austin. She has served as an Austin ISD trustee since 2015. She is currently the board’s vice president.
