Austin ISD's AVID in collaboration with St. Edward's University hosts the third AVID College Readiness Symposium on Saturday, Feb. 1 from 9 a.m.–noon at St. Edward's University, Ragsdale Center - Jones Auditorium, 3001 S. Congress Ave, where students and families will participate in college preparatory breakout sessions.
The event is free and open to AISD high school AVID students, eighth-grade GEAR UP students and families.

Join AISD students, teachers, staff, and families as we celebrate National Computer Science Education Week December 9–15. We are excited to see our own MIS Computer Science engineers volunteering in classrooms along with local companies to help teach students to learn to code.
On Thursday, Nov. 21 from 6–8 p.m., the LBJ Vertical Team will host their annual Harvest Fest Dinner.
We will provide dinner to the community, books to families and rock some performances by students throughout our Vertical Team. Don't forget to check out our community vendors.
