Join Austin ISD's Historically Underutilized Business Program at the 2019 Luna Awards.

The Luna Awards celebrates the achievements of women, women-owned businesses and advocates who promote and develop women at all levels in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction. Austin ISD is a proud supporter of the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association and looks forward to seeing you at the Regional Luna Awards Reception on Thursday, September 5, 2019, in Austin, Texas.

Mental Health Summit

Hispanic Austin Leadership and Austin ISD are proud to present a community health summit focused on mental wellness and health Saturday, November 2 from 9:30 a.m.–1 p.m. at Navarro Early College High School, 1201 Payton Gin Road.

Join us to learn about the mental health resources available in AISD, Austin and Travis County; meet mental health professionals; and learn the signs and symptoms of mental health issues.

The event will feature keynote speakers, vendors, prizes and food.

Breakfast and registration will start at 9:30 a.m.

Update: Austin ISD School Changes Process / Noticias sobre el proceso de cambios escolares del Austin ISD

Austin ISD has received an incredible amount of feedback from the community throughout the School Changes Process, and we’re excited about the innovative ideas and solutions that are being shared. 

With so much information to synthesize, district leaders need a little more time to thoughtfully prepare scenarios before presenting them to trustees. 

VIRTUAL: Board Information Session

The Austin ISD Board of Trustees will convene virtually for its April 13 Board Information Session Meeting.

The Board and AISD administration made the decision to hold the virtual meeting as part of COVID-19 precautions. This includes adherence to the city of Austin and Travis County Public Health Order requiring individuals to remain in place at home or place of residence, with the exception of certain activities.

There will be no public comments.
