Fulmore Middle School hosts a Capstone Fair with graduating 8th graders

The Capstone Fair is a culminating project for 50 8th grade students graduating from the Fulmore Humanities, Law, and Global Studies Program. Students have chosen a social issue, researched it extensively through out the year, volunteered and have created a project to positively impact their communities.

The school invites the community to join these Capstone scholars as they present on issues important to them.  Students will make their presentations from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on April 26 in the Fulmore Cafeteria at 201 East Mary Streets.

Let's Talk - Starting the Mental Health Conversation With Your Teen

Join us Tuesday, April 23, 6–7 p.m. at Crockett HS, 5601 Manchaca Road, Room 19 to talk about mental health.

Research shows that 1 in 5 teens experience a mental health issue, with depression and anxiety being the most common diagnosis.

Left untreated, these conditions can worsen and impact all aspects of a teen’s life.

More than 40 percent of teens are not receiving the treatment they need—often because they are too embarrassed to talk about mental health or don’t know how to ask for help.
