Information that pertains to the non-financial management of schools will be sent to the Associate Superintendents based on the nature of the complaint.

Austin ISD, ACPTA Host 'Back the Future' Family Event

Austin ISD, the Austin Council of PTAs and more than 75 community groups host Back the Future, a free day of family fun.

The event includes activities for children of all ages, information about resources and programs for families, education to help support student success in school, a celebration of Austin ISD schools and more.

Back the Future is 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Sept. 22 at the AISD Performing Arts Center, 1500 Barbara Jordan Blvd.

Multilingual Education Advisory Committee Meetings

The Multilingual Education Advisory Committee advises the school district about matters related to students who are language learners.

The Committee meets once a month during the school year, from 6–7:45 p.m. at Martin Middle School, 1601 Haskell Street.

El Comité Consultivo de Educación Multilingüe (MEAC) fue creado para informar y asesorar al distrito escolar sobre los asuntos relacionados con los estudiantes aprendices de idiomas.

El Comité se reúne una vez al mes durante el año escolar, 6:15–7:45 p.m. en la Escuela Intermedia Martin, 1601 Haskell Street.

Info Session: Monitor Your Students' Grades, Attendance, Assignments

Families are invited to learn how to use online tools straight from a phone or computer to monitor your child’s grades, attendance and assignments.

This session will update you on how to sign up for alerts about your child’s attendance and grades.

We will also be able to answer questions regarding how absences are treated for truancy, credits earned and more.

We'll be hosting two info sessions:
