Austin ISD is holding a series of community conversations this month to share information about the district's budget forecast and gather community feedback on priorities.
All community members are encouraged to attend and share their input as AISD works to stabilize the budget over the next several years.

As the spring semester begins, the Austin ISD Transportation Department encourage drivers to be extra cautious around school buses and school zones. While few ticketed violators repeat the offense, the number of overall citations are on the rise. In 2017, 17,244 citations were given, up from 12,936 in 2016. |

Austin ISD will honor the heritage of African-Americans and their legacies throughout the school district at the 35th Annual African-American Heritage Celebration.
This year's theme, "AISD Got Talent,” celebrates students for their academic success, highlights winners of the district-wide essay competition and honors community leaders and stakeholders with awards in giving, educational leadership, volunteer service, distinguished service and others.
This year's program will feature entertainment from Eastside Memorial Early College High School.
