Austin ISD welcomes all students impacted by Hurricane Harvey. At the community’s request, Austin ISD has created a way for community members to donate to support the needs of evacuees enrolling in Austin ISD through Austin Ed Fund. Funds will provide school supplies and support for students enrolling in Austin ISD campuses.

Austin ISD Superintendent Paul Cruz, AISD leaders and Austin Mayor Steve Adler will announce plans to support and enroll hurricane evacuees currently in Austin.
Information will include enrollment schedules and opportunities for community involvement to support the evacuees, including how the community can best support these families.
In addition to the campus support, AISD is welcoming all evacuees to varsity athletic events this weekend, free of charge.
High schools from throughout the district will highlight and answer questions about the many the programs offered at their campuses.
Other district departments will also participate to provide additional support for parents wanting to learn more about the many services available within the district.
This event is positioned to coincide with completion of course selection sheets for the 2018-2019 school year.
Austin ISD is hosting a series of informational open houses to learn more about the 2017 Bond and how it could affect each campus.
Meetings are 5:30–7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and are designed in a come-and-go format, with presentations at 5:45 p.m. and at 6:45 p.m.
A districtwide open house will be 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, with presentations at 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
