Kick Back with AISD

This weekend, Austin ISD takes over SoccerZone in south Austin to host the championships of the inaugural AISD Future Cup soccer tournament.

The AISD Future Cup, which began Sept. 10, is part of the district’s ongoing community engagement efforts to inform the participants and their families about AISD's bond planning and future facility needs.

AISD Students Continue to Outperform State, Nation in ACT Test Results

Students in Austin ISD once again earned higher overall scores on the ACT exam in 2015–16, compared with their counterparts across the state and nation.

“These results show that we are moving forward on our goal of ensuring every student is college–and career–ready,” Superintendent Paul Cruz said. “I am so proud of staff for all the hard work they have put in day in and day out for the success of our students.”

Facility Feedback: Tell Us How to Improve the PAC, Burger Center and South Soccer Fields

Austin voters approved bonds for the AISD Performing Arts Center, South Soccer Field and Burger Center. To ensure funds from the AISD bond program are spent wisely, the Community Bond Oversight Committee is seeking feedback from teachers, team members, families and community partners about the districtwide facilities.

AISD Launches New Teaching Tool For High School Students

Austin ISD is pleased to announce a partnership with Edgenuity to provide an innovative and engaging way for high school students to prepare for college, career and life. 

A leader in “blended learning,” Edgenuity uses a combination of animations, simulations, direct instruction and other activities to support learning and to help students prepare for the PSAT/SAT, ACT and TSI tests. 

Attached is an introduction to Edgenuity and how it works, as well as login information. Students may use their current AISD email and password.
