Computer Science Exploration Fair

Date
Saturday, April 9, 2016 - 10:00 am to 2:30 pm
Where
Delco Center, 4601 Pecan Brook Drive, Austin, TX 78724

The Computer Science Exploration Fair is an exploratory event for Austin middle school and high school students interested in studying computer science.

The fair provides a venue for students to learn about the varied and exciting college and career paths in computer science such as robotics, computer security, computer programming, video game design and more.

Students can meet professionals who work in the field and students working on computer science projects, and discover what they could make by learning computer science.

There will be speakers from the Austin technology community, product demonstrations, activities and a raffle.

Lunch will be provided for participants who engage with our booth presenters.

We aim to excite students, parents, educators and the community about the career opportunities available along the CS pathway.

This event is free and open to the public.

For more information, please contact Sarah Ramirez at 512-414-9729.

In addition, the district will administer advanced placement exams, also commonly referred to as AP exams, May 2–13.
