Media Advisory: AISD Breaks Ground on Applied Technology Center

A joint project between Austin ISD, the Boys Scouts of America and a community donor is bringing a new Applied Technology Center to Anderson High School. The center will benefit students across the district, and the community is invited to a groundbreaking celebration Wednesday.

Media Advisory: Special Board Meeting to Canvass Results and Call for Runoff

A Special Meeting of the Austin Independent School District Board of Trustees will be held  Nov. 18 to officially canvass results of the Nov. 4 General Election.

Voters re-elected incumbent Robert Schneider to the District 7 seat and selected Julie Cowan as the new District 4 trustee. Additionally, the Board of Trustees are expected to call for a special runoff election for Trustee Single Member Positions 1 and 6 as well as the At-Large Position 9.
