40th Annual Poetry Declamation Contest
On Saturday, April 26, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., there will be an annual event, hosted and organized by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, at The University of Texas at Austin, to invite all K-12 students in Austin and the surrounding area, including some of the farthest reaching communities of the state, to participate in a spanish-language poetry contest, and hold an awards ceremony with song and dance from locally performing artists.
