AISD Participates in SXSWedu
The Austin Independent School District is pleased to once again partner with SXSWedu. Education’s most energetic and innovative leaders from all backgrounds of the learning landscape including teachers, administrators, university professors, business and policy leaders converge each March at the SXSWedu Conference & Festival. The four-day event is a platform for the growing SXSWedu community to connect, collaborate, create and change how we teach and learn.
Metz and Zavala "Walk Against Hate"
What: Students, parents, faculty, and staff of Metz and Zavala Elementary Schools will join to Walk Against Hate to encourage diversity , respect, inclusion and to secure justice and fair treatment to all citizens alike and to put an end forever to unjust and unfair discrimination of citizens.

AISD Cancels All Athletic Events; After-school Activities After 6:30 p.m. Today
AUSTIN, Texas--Austin ISD has canceled all athletic events today, March 3, as well as after-school activities after 6:30 p.m. today due to expected freezing temperatures and the potential for rain this evening.
Activities that are canceled this evening include softball and soccer games.

AISD remains on a two-hour delay.
Classes and district office hours for all AISD campuses will operate on a two-hour delay.
AISD buses will also operate on a two-hour delay. Parents with questions about transportation can call AISD's transportation department between 7:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. at 512-414-0238.
