What: Ability Connection Texas provides a full range of services for people with physical and intellectual disabilities, and they support hundreds of families in Austin.
Come walk, roll, or stroll and celebrate people of all abilities in the Austin community!

El distrito abrira sus escuelas y oficinas el juevez, 6 de febrero con una demora de dos horas. Los autobuses tambien operaran con una demora de dos horas.

Financial Aid Saturdays

What: Financial Aid Saturdays provide FREE help filling out federal and state forms for college financial aid. File by March 31 to increase your chances of getting financial aid!

When: Feb. 1, 8, 9, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23, 24; March 1, 2, 22, 29  
          All Saturday events run from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
          Week night events run from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

AISD Celebrates National School Counseling Week Feb. 3-7

The Austin Independent School District employs more than 200 counselors who serve our 129 campuses daily. AISD counselors play a tremendous role in helping our students achieve success and plan for the future.

This year, the district invites staff members, families and the community to help us celebrate AISD counselors during National School Counseling Week, Feb. 3-7.

AISD Accepting Two-way Dual-Language Applications Now Through Feb. 21

AUSTIN, Texas—Austin ISD is now accepting applications for its two-way dual-language programming now through Feb. 21 at Becker, Blanton, Casey, Galindo, Perez, Ridgetop, Sunset Valley, Travis Heights and Wooten elementary schools as well as for the campus-based program at Brentwood Elementary School*.

Two-way dual language supports “two language” groups of students to become bilingual, bicultural and biliterate.
