CAC District Wide Trainings

Pursuant to recent revisions to district policy BQB(Regulation), we are offering opportunities for CAC members to attend a district-wide training event. These training events will be in addition to the CAC training options we already offer (i.e., online training materials, campus-based training, and training provided by the Coordinator of District Advisory Bodies). The training will cover the resources on the CAC website and compliance with CAC bylaws, and the campus budget process.

Every Day Counts: Improved Attendance Leads to Improved Learning

The Austin City Limits festival kicks off today at Zilker Park and with it comes the lure of good music and fun.

While the festival is tempting to attend today, Austin ISD wants to remind its families, students and staff members of the importance of being in class all day, every day.

Because when it comes to school, students who miss school miss out. Attendance boosts student achievement, improves the quality of your child's educational experience, and it prepares them for college, good careers, and successful adulthood.
