Community Meeting to Learn About and Share Feedback on Potential Facility Renovations

Austin ISD invites families and members of the public to a community meeting regarding potential facility renovations for Rosedale School and Clifton Career Development School and how they could affect academic programming.
The Rosedale School and Clifton Career Development School serve special education students in AISD.

When: 9-10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10

Where: Cafeteria at Clifton Career Development School, 1519 Coronado Hills Dr.

AISD Community Meetings for Potential AAFRs

AUSTIN, TX—This week, Austin ISD invites families and community members to two meetings at which they can learn about possible academic scenarios for a South High School and potential facility renovations for Rosedale School and Clifton Career Development School.

The meetings are part of AISD's process to gather input and feedback from families and community members about the potential 2013-14 Annual Academic and Facilities Recommendations.  

Child care and interpretation services will be provided at both meetings.

What:  Austin ISD would like to invite you to share your feedback on potential academic scenarios for Garcia and Pearce middle schools at a community meeting on Saturday, November 17 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. in cafeteria at Pearce Middle School, located at 6401 N. Hampton Dr.

Join us for a brief presentation and community focused activity to address academic programming options for Garcia and Pearce middle schools.  We welcome your feedback on these scenarios and any additional input you can provide.

Child care, interpretation services and light refreshments will be provided.

AISD Invites Community to Share Input on School Boundaries; Proposed Attendance Area Would Affect McBee, Walnut Creek and Wooldridge Elementary Schools

AUSTIN, TEXAS—Austin ISD’s Boundary Advisory Committee invites community members to learn about and share feedback on a proposed attendance area for the new North Central Elementary School No. 1 at 102 E. Rundberg Lane.
BAC is charged with developing recommendations for the creation of, and adjustment to, boundaries for school attendance areas, and is seeking community input before moving forward with a recommendation to the district’s leadership. The proposed attendance area would affect McBee, Walnut Creek and Wooldridge elementary schools.

The purpose of the Boundary Advisory Committee (BAC) is to assist in developing recommendations for the creation of, and adjustment to, school attendance zone boundaries.

What: English Language Learner Advisory Committee

ELLAC meetings are normally scheduled every first Tuesday of the month, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
