First Annual Future Plans College & Career Fair hosted by SXSWedu

SXSWedu Conference is hosting the first annual Future Plans College & Career Fair on Tuesday, March 5th from 2pm - 8pm at the Austin Convention Center. The show is a re-imagining of the college fair to include insight into current and emerging employment trends in addition to post-secondary education options. There will be two stages in the show, the Career Stage and the College Stage, featuring programming that addresses the college admission process and financial aid as well as job forecasting and career paths.

Titles include, "Inside the Mind of the Gatekeepers: Admissions Officers and Their Decisions" and "I’m Into Jobs That Don’t Even Exist Yet". The full schedule can be found at and the list of speakers can be found at

With support from AISD, students will have access to a park and ride bus system to facilitate transportation to and from the downtown area.
