IDEA Allan On-Track to Open in August
Austin, TX—IDEA Allan, Austin ISD's new, in-district charter school, is on-track to meet its enrollment goals after completing its first phase of enrollment, which ends today. In addition, enrollment at two of the district's area elementary schools, Govalle and Ortega, will increase for the 2012-13 school year.
Texas Education Agency Says AISD Exceeds All Targets of State Accountability System
According to the Texas Education Agency's preliminary state accountability ratings released today, 113 of the district's schools have Met Standard or Met Alternative Standard—the highest rating schools can earn—on the state's accountability system. EDF Climate Corps Fellow Uncovers Energy-saving Opportunities for Local Schools
Austin ISD hosted 2015 EDF Climate Corps Fellow Maxwell Sykes this summer to help the district better manage its energy use and costs.
