AISD Operates on Normal Schedule Monday
All Austin ISD schools and offices will operate on a normal schedule Monday, Nov. 25.Students and families are encouraged to dress warmly and stay safe while traveling or walking to school. There are no changes to bus routes or pickups times; however, families should expect traffic delays due to weather. Any tardies due to the weather will be excused.
AISD Closed for Spring Break
Austin, TX—The Austin Independent School District will be closed for Spring Break, Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15.All AISD offices and schools will be closed during this period. AISD Classes Continue as Usual Today
Based on the most recent forecast available from the National Weather Service Friday, Jan. 9, classes and activities will operate on a normal schedule. There are multiple, extra-curricular activities scheduled throughout the weekend, so staff will continue to monitor the weather situation tonight and throughout the weekend. Education Austin Hosts Citizenship Workshop
Education Austin is hosting a citizenship workshop from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at Travis High School, 1211 E. October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Austin ISD Athletics is doing its part to promote safe and healthy relationships.In partnership with the Travis County Sheriff's Office, Texas Advocacy Project and SAFE, student athletes will be wearing purple ribbons to encourage others to stand up against dating and domestic violence.
