Red Ribbon Week—Focus on Vaping
Red Ribbon Week—Oct. 28 through Nov. 1—is a national campaign to bring awareness to the risks and dangers of substance abuse. Starting Oct. 28, AISD will educate students, staff and the community about the effects of tobacco, alcohol, vaping and other drugs on our bodies and brains.
Boundary Advisory Committee (BAC) Meeting
What: The Boundary Advisory Committee (BAC) is charged with assisting in the development of recommendations for the creation of and adjustment to school attendance zone boundaries. All meetings are open to the public. If you are interested in speaking before the BAC during a regular meeting, please consult the Citizens Communications Guidelines.
Austin ISD Main Headquarters On the Move
Move in progress July-September After more than 25 years at 1111 W. Sixth St., Austin ISD is moving its headquarters. The move has begun to 4000 S. Interstate 35, at the northwest corner of I-35 and E. Ben White Boulevard. The move is anticipated to be complete by September.
