Austin ISD Hosts 2017 Bond Open Houses
Austin ISD is hosting a series of informational open houses to learn more about the 2017 Bond and how it could affect each campus. Budget Briefs: Task Force Moves Toward Finalizing Recommendations

When Students Become Teachers: Austin ISD Future Educators to Compete at State
Future educators from three Austin ISD high schools are headed to state competition.Students from Akins High School and from Lanier and Travis early college high schools will compete in the 34th Annual Teach Tomorrow Summit and State Competition.The competition is Feb. 15–17 at the La Torretta Resort and Conference Center and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.
