Austin ISD implements strategies to improve student achievement (En español)
Results of the 2024 STAAR are now available and show Austin ISD, along with other Texas school districts, still struggling to get scores back on track post-pandemic. Why it matters: While test scores aren’t the only measure of academic knowledge, the tests show how our students are mastering course material so we can create plans to address gaps in knowledge.

School Consolidation Surveys Recommended Plan and Updates/Comment Card 2 Austin ISD received 2,850 community comments via our online comment card 2. The comment card 2 was the second centralized form of this type.
Rosedale Parent Helps Design New Campus
For Architect Chad Johnson, designing the Rosedale School hit a little closer to home than most projects. That's because his son Blake Johnson is a student at Rosedale and is part of the classroom for students with visual impairments within the medically fragile group. Johnson, an architect with Page, an architecture and design firm, helped design the modernized campus.
