AISD Board of Trustees Approve FY2013 Expenditure Budget
Austin, TX—Tonight, the Austin Independent School District's Board of Trustees approved payment allotments for all regular, full and part-time staff members that will be the equivalent of three percent of the employee's salary. The one-year only increase will cost an estimated $14.16 million and would be funded out of district reserves.

Austin ISD Invites Community to Give Input on Developing Facility Master Plan
Austin ISD needs the public's input as it continues to update its Facility Master Plan. During upcoming meetings, AISD will present the Facilities and Bond Planning Advisory Committee's FMP update and receive feedback from the public. Each meeting will focus on a different vertical team. However, anyone can attend any meeting.
Austin ISD To Close Facilities To The Public
AISD will close its facilities and open spaces, including tennis courts, tracks, football fields, basketball courts and playfields, effective 7 p.m., April 9. This measure is in alignment with the city of Austin and Travis County's Stay at Home - Work Safe Order. We are committed to doing everything possible to ensure the health of its staff, students, families and the community at large.
Facilities and Bond Planning Advisory Committee Meeting
The Board of Trustees appoints citizens to the Facilities and Bond Planning Advisory Committee to evaluate capital improvement needs of the district and to provide recommendations to the board on long-range facilities planning; amendments to the Facility Master Plan; and the scope of work and timing of future bond programs.Click here to download an agenda for the meeting.
