UT Austin-AISD Partnership to Support Computer Science Education
AUSTIN, Texas—The University of Texas at Austin and the Austin Independent School District are partnering to offer college credit to computer science students in AISD high schools.
Inspire the Future Grant Program
Last Day to Apply! Austin Ed Fund is offering its Inspire the Future Grant Program to support AISD schools. This grant program encourages teacher-led collaborative projects that focus on innovative teaching strategies that enhance learning and support the wellbeing of students, staff, and families.
Austin Family Support Co-op Meeting
The Austin Family Support Cooperative will host its next meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rosedale School, 2117 W. 49th St. The Family Support Cooperative is a partnership between AISD, Austin Travis County Integral Care and the Arc of the Capital Area created to inform and support families of children with disabilities.
Initiatives
Changing Lives Youth Theatre Ensemble performs original theatre on teen relationships for youth audiences. Local middle and high school age youth develop scenes, scripts, props, and scenery for a new production each year. Austin ISD Hosts Dia De Los Muertos Community Event

Support Schools, Libraries, Parks and More through Utility Bill Donations
Austin community members can support Austin ISD and other local school districts by adding a few dollars to their utility bills. The added money goes to school districts, parks and libraries or to individuals experiencing extraordinary emergencies such as loss of job or medical emergencies.
